Madhur Bhandarkar was born on 26th August 1968. He is a filmmaker, producer, and scriptwriter. He started his career as an assistant of Ram Gopal Varma. He made his debut by directing Trishakti released in 1996. After that, his film Chandni Bar (2001) earned him the spot of one of the top filmmaker winning him National Award. He went to direct National Award-winning films like Page 3, Traffic Signal, etc. His notable film till date is fashion fetching actress Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut National Award. His other hits films include Heroine and Corporate. According to him, his films are the mirrors of societal issues.
